For goodness sakes Im about to have my 39th birthday and I keep getting pimples like I did when I was 16. ITS VERY FRUSTRATING! I am using proactive which has really helped, but Im even getting them on my back..a part of my body I am ENJOYING SHOWING OFF!! Am I alone in this? Has anyone else noticed they get more acne now? Guest guest Posted June 18, 2005 Report Share Posted June 18, 2005 Acne! Me too! How ever, my doctor said the boils on my face are diabetic related because my insulin levels are high. That is one reason why the doctor wouldn't clear me for plastic surgery. I would have a difficult time healing and would be prone to infection. Do any of you suffering acne/breakouts have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome? Acne is a symptom of irregular hormone levels, which included high insulin levels. Robyn > Yup me too Kat!!
