Guest guest
I discovered a product called 5-Hour Energy about 4 months ago. I drink a small bottle (called a chaser) each day upon rising and sit and wait until I feel awake. It takes about 5 minutes! It doesn't make me hyper or anything, it just wakes me up gently and I know I'm awake when I want to get up and start doing things -- something that used to take over an hour and sometimes never came! It has as much caffeine as 1 cup of coffee but I get a 5 hour plus energy run from it and it's mostly vitamins. Here's what's in it: Vit. C as ascorbic acid = 100 mg. Niacin (as niacinimide) = 33 mg. Vit. B6 (as Pyrodoxine Hydrochloride) = 40 mg. Folic Acid = 400 mcg. Vit. B12 (as cyanocobalimin) = 500 mcg. Sodium - 10 mg. Energy Blend = 2100 mg. Glucuronolactone, N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine, L-Phenylalalyne, Taurine, Malic Acid and Caffeine Enzyme Blend = 1 mg. Amalyse, Protease, Lipase, Cellulase, Lactase You can buy it at Walgreens and probably most other pharmacies. But if you decide you want to take it daily, you can buy it by the case on eBay with much better pricing. I have tried to go without it and I drag through the day so this has really been a much needed energy boost to my life. Especially since I don't drink coffee. As always, use caution and be sure it doesn't have anything in it that you can't tolerate. That's why I listed the ingredients.
