Guest guest
Well , you will have to wait till Monday, Radio Shack didn't have the part, so I had to order it from Hewlett Packard direct. HP Said it will be here by Monday. Heard from Galen this evening he is PA, and should be in Massachusetts tomorrow, and could be in NH tomorrow, but is not going to push it, and be here on Saturday. The sauce is cooking already! Rita Luv & Hugs! ************************************* Some people succeed in spite of their handicap. Others succeed because of them. Guest guest
Dear Rita, You must be excited about your upcoming pasta party. I was looking forward to coming and finally getting to meet Galen. I have two important doctor's appointments next week in addition to my twice weekly PT appointments. My energy level is very low (as are my spirits) and my pain level is way up there. The timing is just not good for me right now. I am so sorry that I'll miss the fun. I hope I can have a rain check. Please give my regards to everyone. Guest guest
The Connecticut Connection was a great for me to meet people who are experiencing the physical and emotional problems that accompany a motor neuron disease. I felt a great deal of love and strength of character, in that room that day....wish I could have bottled it and taken it home. I would have taken a few good whiffs of it this past weekend as I am still having big problems with accepting my physical limitations and then feeling exhausted and depressed. Reading an interesting book called " Stigma: the Management of a Spoiled Identity. " Hopefully this will give me some help in accepting my new identity!!!!! I have some wonderful pictures that I took at the Connecticut Connection...especially of the " Birthday Carrot Cake Celebration " for Rita and other May celebrants. Rita you looked very REGAL in your Delores Made Crown. you looked especially happy as Rita fed you a piece of the carrot cake, I'm sure that Rita had to control herself to make sure that it went into your mouth and didn't become a " facial " for you. Delores, the love and caring that you gave to this meeting radiated from you that day. Alan I shall always look at your picture and remember how I " FELL " for you....that is over the wheels of you wheel chair. I have pictures of others but guess that falling for Alan affected my brain and I've misplaced your names...except for Starr...such a beautiful name and lovely lady. Anyone that is interested in copies please use my Email address: Social1997@... and mail me your home address. There's probably some way that I could send them over the computer.....but this senior citizen is still learning about this miraculous machine called the computer. Thanx for being there. Guest guest
Bebe: What a nice letter. Made me recapture the visit. You are going thru what most of all of us has or is till going thru. Seems to me if you list all the positive " stuff " in your life and " flush " the negative down the toilet you will be able to cope more (it's not easy, but you have to work at it). Once you get diagnosis as to what you actually have, then maybe you can deal with it. Hang in there my friend. Yes, my pictures also came out great also, but REGAL, I don't think so. I would love to scan them to show the group like we did last time. It was good for the people who couldn't go to see us, I think! But Mark has put a block on attachments so we can't share them. I would like to see your, so my address is; 6 Market Place #1E, Hollis, NH 03049 Till next time. Rita Luv & Hugs! ************************************* Some people succeed in spite of their handicap.
