Guest guest
Hi everyone, Hope you are all well. I'm up to 5 grains - 3 in AM at 5:30AM, 1.5 at 11AM and .5 a 2PM. I'm a 15mg HC. 10mg at 5:30AM, 5 at 9:30 AM. I had been taking another 5 HC in the afternoon but stopped that awhile ago - about a month ago. I have no shakes or any indications of hyper except I have an occasional sweat incidence after taking my AM dose, but I've just gotten out of the shower at that time or blew dry my hair and, oh yeah, I'm in pre-menopause. My afternoons at work I find myself very tired and the drive home from work stinks. Could be due to adrenals and not taking that afternoon dose but I'm not sure. Need the experts here. I'm still not well, or let's say I'm not where I want to be but am better than I was 8 months ago. I'm not talking weight loss or any of that stuff - I'm fat and look like I'm pregnant at the ripe old age of 48. I want my brains back. I can be fat as long as I'm intelligent. :-) Getting there, but not all there. When I did saliva testing last year I was at stage 7, but I hate taking the HC. Fear. That's why I am trying to wean myself off before I should (weaning just from the PM dose). I also have low ferritin but last labs showed I was heading up at 57 - which is great!! Next labs are due in Feb. Frees were in the mid range last labs and even my endo agreed that " maybe " I would do better higher in the range. I'm not sure where to go at this point. Symptoms continue to be brain fog and now I am having some difficulty getting off to sleep since I hit 5 grains. However, when I hit that afternoon fog I just want to go home and go to bed but I can't get to sleep. I am sleeping soundly once I get there, thanks to the occasional melatonin, but I'm uncomfortable not getting to sleep when I get up so early. I am wondering if perhaps I'm getting close to optimization and this night time stuff is just me not being used to going to bed at the pathetic hour of 7:30-8PM. Could it be that feeling better is simply bizarre or am I missing something? Could I be hyper without shakes, heart palps but feel wiped, brain fog instead? Thanks to anyone who replies.
