Hi All,

I am on no mail status so am subscribed but not getting mail. Feel free though

to write me at jdaubenm@...

I just had to post these latest lab results.

My A1c was 4.8! I cannot believe it~! The lowest I had ever had was 5.2 and I

got an a1c of 4.8 over the holidays? *laugh*.

That a1c was the lowest I have ever had my *entire* life as a type 1 diabetic

and I have been diabetic for almost 30 years!

My cholesterol was fair but my LDL needs to come down a little. I am certain it

was from all the holiday fats though *grin*. LDL was 110, HDL was 63, and

Trigliserites were 89.

My liver enzymes were sky rocket high for the past 5 months. Doctor took me off

lipitor and put me on zetia and they were still high. My doctor had me start

taking an aspirin a day last summer. I told my doctor it was from the aspirin

she put me on/had me taking once a day. She said it was impossible. I said not

true. I am going off it for 1 month then getting lab work done. Well my liver

enzymes are perfectly fine and in perfect range now. I just had to rub it in at

my doctor *grin*.

I wanted to let everyone know that if your liver enzymes go up it could be from

aspirin even if the doc says that is impossible. In fact I bet it was not even

the lipitor that made my enzymes go up. They were still extremely high on zetia

as well which confirms it was another medication. I quit taking aspirin and bam!

perfectly back in range.

Well take care all and feel free to write me off list!

Regards,
