Guest guest
I am waiting for my adrenals to levels out a bit first...that's what I am supposed to do, right? Last weekend I made a trip to town (100 miles away) and after that I crashed real bad. The last store I went to, I could no longer walk into and had to ask them to go get me the items. Driving home was very dicey, despite the extra steroids I took. That night, after I got home, I was sooo sick for two days. Ever since then, my temps have no longer been a little too high anymore, but dropped down roughly 1 1/2 degrees, and then slowly start coming back up again. With the lower temperatures I am now feeling better as a whole, though...at least I did for a few days.... Tell me something, last night, I could not get to sleep until 12:30 by which time I was beginning to feel a bit ill. At 2:30 I woke up sick again. After taking a hot shower to help me stop shaking and a little bit of adrenal support, my temp came up to 95.6. By morning though, my basal temp was up to 97.5, which is pretty good for me. To make along story short, it seems my adrenals are still too unstable to start trying to take Armor again. Yes? No? I would like to take just the Cynomel again, as it did not bother my heart and make me feel bad like the Armour did, but I am concerned about weakening my adrenals with it. What think? I certainly don't want an instant replay of what happened in December when I tried to start up Armour again, but I am sure I do need it. Just how to get there this time is now my question. ~Inga > Low iodine or low thyroid can cause goiter. Guest guest
,. I am trying to stay down at 5 mg of prednisolone a day, but it is tough. I find I need to break up the doses (yes, even with prednsiolone) so that I do not start crashing in the evening and get very ill. I have some H/C on its way again, but seriously question whether it will be strong enough for me at this point. I worked most of last year weaning off of and adrenal support, and was finally off it in September. Starting in February of last year, it became clear to e that I was no longer tolerating thyroid either, (heart was going so nuts I could hardly walk....temps still low) and started lowering my doses of that as well. I am currently taking some Lugols's. ---------------- I am taking adrenal support, because I think it practically saved my life and I go into attacks when I am without it now In early December, I tried to get back on Armour again, I went immediately into a 7 day long panic attack and ended up in ER twice. They said could not have any trouble with my adrenals because I was not hypotensive, or skinny. However, taking steroids again on my own accord is what pulled me through. ~Inga > Inga tell me again how much adrenla support and what you are taking > for it? > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV >
