Conny - I don't usually wake up and setting an

additional alarm would drive me crazy, but it is a

good idea if you do wake up...thanks!

My mom had a rapid decline in two years she was unable to care for herself

at all, stopped talking, wears diapers and can't feed herself as well as

not knowing who anyone is any longer.

Sadly, after this decline I think thw trajectory slows down and a patient

can remain in this stage for an endless period of time unless there are

other problems as heart disease or cancer.

We do the best we can under the conditions.

Hang in - you are not alone.
