Guest guest
Hi , Please let us know how you make out, I know you have not had Lyme disease long, so you can be forgiven for forgetting your doctor appointment. You will soon learn (as we had to) that you need to invest in a good calendar computer program to remind you of doctor appointments, etc.. Or at least utilize your refrigerator and leave yourself some big notes on the front. I do both, and it helps a lot. Guest guest
Hi , Wow! I can't believe it! I did the same exact thing with my 1st appt. with my new LLMD....I knew the right time for 2 months, and then my brain changed it to another time, I showed up at the wrong time, and they had to reschedule! I cried the whole way home because I felt incompetent...anyway, my rescheduled appt. went great and I hope the same for you! Guest guest
Good to hear you had a good time Dave. I was very short tempered when I was on " the med " . I knew I was being an ass too. Now I am off the med but still have a short fuse at times but only concerning myself and when I have difficulties with simple hands on things or make stupid mistakes. I know it is wrong but it happens anyway. The hot humid weather doesn't help either. Luckily I get over it quickly. I think part of this is left over from " the med " . Any one else experience weird things? The garden is finally starting to take off - including the weeds. I planted some old corn seed given to my wife by a Native American and every seed germinated. There are people who collect heirloom seeds and I am interested in this. So many of the hybrid plants produce worthless seed. I'm glad to see most made it to the new site. Guest guest
Yes Dz, Sometimes, I think my husband forgets what I'm going through. I hate going out at night, I just feel totally anit-social. Like I don't care what people are saying to me, I just want them to shut up. Thank God its not like that all the time. Vicky
Guest guest
I guess we wouldn't be human if we didn't have a little short fuse now and then, but it's just more often and for lesser reasons while I've been on this combo. My garden is shaping up too. I almost didn't have one, but I planted a low maintenance garden of cukes, squash, tomatoes, & jalepeno pepppers. The recent rain has perked it right up there! The house I grew up in (a brand new subdivision), we had trees along the street that were hybred to prevent them from producing seed. One of ours (we had 2) reverted to it's natural form and produced seed. I guess it was fairly rare. The city wanted to cut it down and replace it, but my mom wouldn't hear of it. It was the best looking tree on the block. -dz- --- Dennis <dhuber@...> wrote: > Good to hear you had a good time Dave. I was very > short tempered when I was > on " the med " . Guest guest
I have been fairly reclusive also. Particularly my church group I don't think understands. They wonder why I don't meet with my home fellowship group. I usually make it to church. But home fellowship is in the evening. I'm always tired in the evening, sometimes I'm also physically sick, but sometimes I just don't feel fit for human companionship. I just want to be alone. They know about my illness and have been faithfully praying for my recovery, I just don't think they fully understand the effects I suffer. -dz- --- Dennis <dhuber@...> wrote: > I know what you mean Diane, I used to purposely go > away from every one to > spare them. > Dennis > __________________________________________________
Guest guest
I am very nervous about the work scientists are doing on seeds. I will not buy Kellogg's products anymore, because they are using genetically engineered products. They have taken them off the market in Europe, but apparently we haven't squawked enough here. I have written Kellogg's and complained, but they haven't seemed to notice... -dz- --- diane214@... wrote: Hi Dennis, I think that is a side effect we all experience.... Even after the treatment.... Guest guest
I've been pulling a couple of 12's too. I work indoors though, so I have kept cool. I am sure my week off helped immensely. The 2 days leaving is what got me. My son is only 11 and is of limited help, he tries, but just doesn't know what to do unless I tell him. It took about 4-5 hours to break down camp, then the drive home, then the next day unpacking and I snapped. Now, though, I am feeling the rejuvenating effects of my week with nature. -dz- --- <ralexan@...> wrote: > I've been a little short tempered lately. Guest guest
Vicky, I know what you mean. My wife's son got married last month and I went to the wedding/reception and the gift opening, but I left both early. I left the gift opening quite suddenly, taking time to say goodbye to the bride and groom only. I just felt like I had to leave, like NOW. We usually take separate cars so I can do that when I need to. I feel the same as when early in recovery, I was in a place that there was alcohol being used, if and when I became uncomfortable I walked out, no apologies or goodbyes. I have to take care of myself now as then, so I know that my true friends will understand and not take offense. -dz- --- VicLea227@... wrote: > Yes Dz, > > Sometimes, I think my husband forgets what > I'm going through. Guest guest
I guess I figured that, since, I believe, it works with your RNA(?) I realize that there are chances we are taking with this medication. I think that is an entirely different situation between a prescription drug and food that we eat and feed to our children. Kellogg's is apparently satisfied that it is safe, and it may be. I am not convinced and I have a great many more choices. -dz- --- <ralexan@...> wrote: > Hey DZ > > Did you know that the Interferon is genetically > engineered? > > __________________________________________________
Guest guest
When times get tough we can weed out the fair-weather friends. Guest guest
In the past year or so. Greenpeace has been fighting them, trying to make them label their product if it is genetically engineered. They have refused so far. I wrote them, and normally I get at least a form letter when I write these bigwigs (Amoco, congress, etc.) I got nothing from them. -dz- --- diane214@... wrote: > Darn!!!!!! Guest guest
Lynne, Where do you live? We're right outside Dallas (actually 3 minutes from DFW Airport). It sounds like you need some rest. What a nice thing to do saving those dogs...poor babies. I wonder how the owner would feel if someone got a hold of her and bred her every 10 months or so. Some people... Guest guest
Hope you start feeling better. I know I bought a dog once from this pet store and it had distemper, it was really heartbreaking. I took it to the vet and learned a lot about these "breeding farms" that many of these places use. Hope your little guys come around. -dz-Lynne Dunham <lynne@...> wrote: Morning all, Well I finally think I wore myself out. After last shot got an upset stomach and haven't felt the same since. Guest guest
Well I just got home from work, and ready to call it a day. Sent one dog off to foster care and awaiting for the next foster mom to come get the other one. Both are quiet little mice and glad they are leaving soon for I would have adopted both. Had the vet check them out and give vaccinations. One has a heart murmur. Ok I am now going to nap. back later .Lynne [ ] Re: Morning Lynne, Where do you live?
