Hi Val; glad you are doing better. I thought you had successfully

waned youself from the HC. Did you start up again when you got sick?

Do you plan on weaning yourself off again, or staying on HC ? And I do

do the temperature graph. My daily averages are within .2 degrees of

each other, except for the days when my temp is elevated first thing in

the am. I am trying to figure out why I have a temp certain mornings.

What might cause a high temp( 98.7) first thing in the am? conny

I take 35MG HC right now but am

How early? I hope you are not using basal temps in your graph as they can throw

it off. Anyway, I would think any little infection, or maybe you are hainvg tiny

thyroid dumps from barely enough cotisol. Yes I had weaned off HC and was doign

wonderful for about 4 months, then my Grandmother (who raised me as my mother)

was taken very ill and I do believe it was this stress that caused my recent

illness, so I went back on HC to try to counter it. I definitely needed the HC

again and I htink the stress of possibly losing my Mom is doing me in. That and

the fact that with doing an insulin set up and being so broke now fgrom being

sick I can;t afford a trip to see her, and probably willnot see her before she

passes. Then add the stress of knowing her damned doctor is what is killing her.

She was on 40MG a dya of Pred for arthritis for 2 years.. well this idiot

decided she had been on it too long.NO side effects mind youm he just thought ti

would be good to take an 89 year old woman off Pred. SO in 2 weeks of weaning

she was off it righ tabout Christm,as time, In another week she lost her

hearing, then another week she went blind, then another week and she no longer

knows anyone. It id=s brian inflammation I am certain, kist as I am certain it

will kill her soon. SO all this stress on newly healed adrenals i NT a good

thing. It was th day after I got the news she was blind and in the hospital that

I got SO sick.
