Anita’s Daughter

Jesus, one of your lambs needs you.

A child of God.

Take her hand in yours,

Help her to know she is not alone.

Help her feel safe,

Help her feel warm.

Help her to know she is not alone.

Give her parents the strength,

and the warmth of a hug.

Help them to know they are not alone.

Watch over her Lord,

From the surgery she’ll wake,

that she will know she is not alone.

Amen

Anita,

You have my prayers for your daughter's hearing and well-being after surgery

as well as the brilliance of the surgeon. Being a mother of a child with

this lousy disorder, I hear your pain. Keep the faith and I will too. Vicki

New year. I don't have a date yet and I'm not really in a rush for more

scars. Depends on how much pain I'm willing to live with but as soon as I get

my date with the knife (lol) I will let you know...thanks and God

Maricella,

I am so sorry that you lost your mom like this. It sounds like just a bad

coincidence that you happened to read about someone else who died of the same

thing. My knee jerk guess is that it is very unlikely (statistically) to

happen to you. But I don't know enough about ARDS. Have you researched it on

the web?

Yes, it is called Acute/Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome.

A very rare condition that can occur in patients who have a

very low immune system.
