Guest guest Posted December 10, 2006 Report Share Posted December 10, 2006 Well, I have always had to take for 5 days to up to 10 days. It should not take that long for just a couple days. Was it high dose? That can make a difference, I think. My dose over 5 days was 10 mgs. (once was 20 mgs.) and over 10 days was 5-10 mgs., depending on lung function. It took a while to get out of my system then. Take your sea salt with water to get the swelling down. That is what is helping me as I tend to retain water. C.
