Guest guest
Goodmorning everyone! Wow...I was reading some conflicting messages between a few people on my HC replacement! Ok, so can I please get some more direction? I've been off synthroid since Dec. 8/06. I've tried taking armour a few times in between while starting support and can't tolerate it. So I went from Isocort three tablets a day to HC 3 tablets a day and found the HC WAS MUCH STRONGER. There is no comparison between the two. I can only tolerate 2.5 mg in the am, 2.5 mg at lunch, then I am really jittery till around 4-5pm. I mean my heart rate goes up to 100. Is it possible to have alot of synthroid still floating around after 3 weeks? When I take my HC in the am, it makes ME FEEL SO MUCH BETTER! I'm a little light headed though, dizzy is that normal? My energy level is higher and I don't feel sick like I can't think straight. I'm afraid to add any armour into the mix right now, but my temps are all over the place, from 97- 98.3. I know that my T4 is falling and if I wait another two weeks, which I think it's going to take to get my HC up to 20mg, I'll be totally depleated in hormone? Why is the result so marked ??????? I must have alot of syncrap? I'm afraid to take anymore HC 7.5mg today because I know if you push too much you can get a cardiac crisis or circulatory collapse with the conversion. I think that's what's happened to me switching over, way too strong. I think I should have started at one HC in the am. Please help me with what to do. Ok, so I just took my morning dose of HC and I'm dizzy. ??????????????????????????????????????????? Have you guys ever heard of someone going off meds as long as I have to get their HC up, I mean like a month? Thanks guys, Kimmie
