Guest guest
>>What will happen if I try the Cortef & I am hyperadrenal?<< It will slow your own ACTH and lower your over all cortiosl production to normal levels. >>How much should I drop back on the Armour if I decide to give the Cortef a try?<< I woudl drop to no more than 3 grains. Then start the HC slow! Here si a starting schedule for taking it: http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=994 & sid=f27bd727a\ 58c063443eb9de0727c45c7 -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store (Closing after Xmas!!!) http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
Thanks Val. It sounds as if I really have nothing to lose by giving the Cortef a try. I have printed out the schedule. So I guess that I should stay at 3 gr. until I get up to 20 mg. of Cortef? > > >>What will happen if I try the Cortef & I am hyperadrenal?<< > > It will slow your own ACTH and lower your over all cortiosl production to normal levels. > > >>How much should I drop back on the Armour if I decide to give the > Cortef a try?<< > > I woudl drop to no more than 3 grains. Guest guest
Hi Gale go to this link it tells you how to start on HC. http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/adrenal-info/how-to-treat Phil Gale wrote: In just 10 days! I need some advice. I am on 5gr. of Armour & cannot tell that I have made any improvment since I was at 3 gr. Additionally I have gained about 10 more lbs in the past 3 months or so. This makes 34 lbs. since I became Hypo back in April. I was not DX until the beginning of July. I have not had my Adrenals tested, we just cannot afford it as we have no Medical Insurance & my DH & I have had a lot of medical bills this year. We are barely staying afloat right now. About the time that I hit 4 gr. of Armour I started having extreme adrenalin rushes all day long. They only last a couple of seconds but they were coming every few minutes. I tried Delta with no change. That is when I saw my Dr. & he put me on Lexapro. It has helped but still when I am stressed I have the same adrenalin rushes. Along with that I am VERY hot. I normally keep my house at 73 this time of year & now my house is at 63 degrees. My Dr has put me on HRT for this. The night sweats have gotten much better but I am still just plain hot. I am soon to be 53 yrs. old so I am dealing with Hypo & Meno all at the same time. I have done the self tests at the STTM site & do not seem to be having a problem with my adrenals being low. I worry more that it is Hyperadrenal. What will happen if I try the Cortef & I am hyperadrenal? How much should I drop back on the Armour if I decide to give the Cortef a try? Thanks, Gale __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Hi Phil, I have printed out that schedule. I plan to begin the Cortef on New Years day. That way I can track my progress on a new calendar. Lol This certainly has not been the best year of my life. I am ready to start out with a fresh start. Thanks, Gale > > Hi Gale go to this link it tells you how to start on HC. > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/adrenal-info/how-to-treat > Phil >
