Hi everyone. Yes, Valarie I do agree with you I think I need to go a

little faster with the increase of HC. It's been three weeks now and

I'm at 5-5-5-2.5 and I'm going to hold there for now. I went to see

my doc today in Toronto. Well...low and behold my saliva tests were

abnormal. I requested they do a DHEAS x4 but the lab screwed up and

only did one. ok...so here's the results:

am 7 13-24 low

noon 9 5-10 normal

4pm 25 3-8 high, I mean really high

midnight 1 1-3 normal

He asked me specifically what stressed me out so bad at 4pm. I

remember my daughter went over to our neighbours with my husband and

ended up trashing the place (she's 15 months) which totally stressed

me out. That's when I was in the midst of doing my spit test. She

ended up choking on a piece of figurine she swallowed. So I'm

assuming that's why it's high. so I would think it's safe to say I

have adrenal issues wouldn't you? He said they are all over the

place. He started me on cortef (didn't tell him I was on it already

just wanted some confirmation) and placed me on 10mg in the am.

Atleast he's given me the ok to go on it. I like the idea of

multidosing. He also suggested I take a sustained release armour,

ever heard of that?

Ok...so I would like to keep going with adding in armour slowly each

dose at a time, I figure if I do a sustained release when I'm trying

to figure out my dose, it will complicate things, any thoughts?

My DHEAS was 4 3-10. That looks a little low? The end

interpretation from the lab was I need some adrenal support for the

morning and that I had an inappropraitely elevated cortisol to DHEAS

ratio and suggest that I take DHEAS or Pregnenelone. Wouldn't

cortisone cover that? We can't get DHEAS in Canada. Not that I'm

aware of. My temps were really stable today, 97.4-97.9 . I'm also

noticing that my HC at bedtime does absolutely nothing for me. Help

please.

Kimmie
