Guest guest
Below is an earlier post in which I talked about my daughters adrenals. I now have her thyroid blood tests plus other test results. Maybe someone can give me more comments, taking into account not just adrenals but also thyroid. FT4 17.6 (12.9 - 21.2) FT3 (grrrrrr!!, not done even though I requested!!!) TSH 2.9 (0.35 - 5.0) outdated or what??? added note: subclinical hypoT possible TPO 43 (<60) Her blood was tested for other things, most were in the mid range but a few stuck out as being borderline: white blood cells 6.1 (5 - 12) haemoglobin 14 (10-14) MCV 85.6 (84-96) So would you say her thyroid is effecting her adrenals or the other way around. I realize in either case it is mild and her symtpoms are also mild but I don't think sitting on my butt is the best way forward. Where might her haemoglobin fit into all of this? I find this rather strange since she doesn't like eating meat. Symptoms: dry skin (not extreme), strong sugar cravings (learned or hormonal?), pain in the butt to wake in the morning yet too wound up at night to go to sleep, she seems hyper at times during the day yet her teacher doesn't feel this effects her learning, she's almost 8 yet she has only lost 3 teeth and there is almost no room for these 3 new adult teeth, weight is not an issue, hair is thin but doesn't appear to be falling out. > > My daughter has been testing off and on with low and then normal thyroid function.
