Guest guest
MAGGIE SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE INLAWS LIKE ME... AND WELL A HUBBY LIKE MINE ... NOT MANY ARE AS FOURTUNATE AS US.... GET BETTER SOON ROMIE My hubby didn't start out at the dr office with me. His dad took me to the dr's office as I was in no shape to drive. I was in such a hurry to get relief I didn't call my hubby to let him know I was going. He tried to check on me by calling me from his work cell phone and got concerned when I didn't answer. He called my Mother and she told him where I'd gone, and he went right there to be with me. He is very special and I was SO glad he was there. I hurt so bad. I am able to walk this morning and the vicodin helped me to rest. I am going back to bed now. I have missed three days of work this week, hoping I will be better enough to go back tomorrow. I am sending up pain free prayers for us all lock, stock, and barrel as we are all seem to be in bad shape this week. Love, Maggie

Guest guest
I suffered enough, 4 days and I couldn't take it any more. My rheumy just said to increase ultracet from 3 to 4 a day. It didn't work. I called my GP and his nurse said they'd fit me in yesterday afternoon. I had to sit in the waiting room for an hour and was in tears by the time they took me back. My back and neck hurt so bad I couldn't feel the needle when they stuck me to draw blood. All I could feel was my back/neck pain. My GP had just seen me Monday and given me a RX for amoxicillin (sp) for a kidney infection. Hubby had taken it to Wal Mart, who told him it'd be the next day. The next day they said it was out of stock, and boy did that make my GP mad. He ordered my hubby to go pick up the rx and take it somewhere else, a common thing like that and they were out of stock??? He gave me a few samples to start with asap as he was afraid my severe pain might have been due to a raging infection. The blood they drew showed it wasn't, though. He gave me a mild steriod shot - I think they called it depomedrol - and a rx for vicodin. I didn't feel the shot in my hip, either, all I could feel or think about or concentrate on was my back pain. When hubby went to pick up the rx for the anitbiotic they had JUST filled it. My hubby didn't start out at the dr office with me. His dad took me to the dr's office as I was in no shape to drive. Guest guest
Maggie you poor thing I hope you are feeling a little better and stop worrying about work. They will live without you. you sound like me when it comes to work. You take it easy and get that pain under control before you decide to do anything else. Pain med's work only as well as you stay ahead of the game.
