Guest guest
Hello All: Well , perhaps you sent your miracles my way because I had suprisingly GOOD news at my HSG. Turns out (amazingly enough) that the whole right side of my uterus is OPEN! He was easily and immediately able to visualize the right tube. The left side definitely has some scarring but despite that scarring we could still " faintly " see the left tube as well (indicating that some of the dye was able to get through the scar tissue but not as much as on the right side.) He talked with me about the results and said that I certainly do have significant scar tissue but then said " I've seen worse though! " He said he was really very hopeful and that it wasn't as bad as he expected it might be. He then said " I really think I'm going to be able to help you! " YIPEE! To learn that more than half of my uterus is open and functioning along with my right tube almost 2 months after surgery is such an amazing development for me! I was sure I would have scarred over again. Now, all we have to deal with is the left side (it looked to me like that lower left side was fine, just the mid-to-top (like the upper left corner and 1/2 of the left side were the real problem.) Dr. Valle event referred to the scarring as " an adhesion " like it was all one adhesion? I must say that this HSG was MUCH less painful than the 3 others I've had (perhaps because this is the least amount of scar tissue I've had with an HSG?) I'm now scheduled for my Ultrasound to check endometrium next week and then we're set for surgery on the 26th.....and finally allowing myself to feel a little hope.
