Guest guest Posted January 20, 2001 Report Share Posted January 20, 2001 Bill, You can either keep shaking it and it will eventually turn to butter, or you can whip it as you would whipped cream, only keep going until you have very stiff butter and whey which separates into the bottom of the bowl. I was privilged to get real cream fresh from the seperator, put in a jar (very cold), and got to shake it till we had butter for supper! I think the secret was COLD.
