Bill,

You can either keep shaking it and it will eventually turn to butter, or you

can whip it as you would whipped cream, only keep going until you have very

stiff butter and whey which separates into the bottom of the bowl.

Huggy:

My ex-brother-in-laws all had dairy farms in Mn. I was privilged to

get real cream fresh from the seperator, put in a jar (very cold), and

got to shake it till we had butter for supper! I think the secret was

COLD.

I have been shaking it in a jar. What I have now is a jar of whipped

cream, and nothing moves. Any suggestions of what to do from here?

Maybe put some salt in it?
