Or maybe, IsoCort isn't enough for me???

Hey there,

How do I know when I have enough or too much Cortisol? How do I tell

when a palp is too much Armour, or not enough Cortisol.... Part of

my frustration was all the mixed stuff.. I was feeling like dirt and

my heart is tap dancing.. not all the time... but more than usual...

Now, it seems to have subsided..(with increase) so maybe I am

answering my own question...

arrrrrgh! Thanks for playing. Never Give Up! j

background.. long sorry:

I have been having a crazy, and for me discouraging, time with the

Armour/Cortisol balance. In Aug, I was finally starting to improve,

midlife change started rearing its head again, and I haven't been the

same since. I was having strong fast heartbeats and some palps, so I

decreased my Armour from 4 to 3 1/2 gr. It didn't take long to bonk,

so popped it back up to 4gr. But he heart thing was bothering me..

in Sep I ran out of IsoCort and it took me 3 weeks to get more...

difficulty with ordering... and not all that much motivation to

pursue like I should have...

I am wondering maybe I need more Cortisol? HC or something. I have

had a real bad past two months.. wanting to do something, but the

palp thing would happen whether or not I took my medicine (The last

month, I was a mess, couldn't remember to take my meds to safe me -

literally) Is it Too much Armour, too little cortisol...??? Just

unstable methodology?

I am assuming that the sensation of my heart tap dancing in my chest

is palps??? Or is that something else..? Seems to run in the

family... Sometimes, I can feel it in my throat, and cough to stop

it... maybe it's indigestion.... I don't know.

In November, I got the fall allergy crud, but not quite full blown

bronchitis.. Thank you IsoCort? and slow to recover, I would notice,

good one day, bad the next.. but that could likely have been due to

my unstable method of meds taking... I could get up to take the

Armour and completely forget and move to something else, and 3 hours

later, not know whether I took it or not... bad brain dump...

I recently upped to 4 1/2 grains.. my Christmas present to myself.

And things are slowly improving.. I am not there yet... but... am

much better... I want to say the palps less this past week since

increase...

Hey there, Thanks for your input. It is always nice to know that

that I'm not alone and there answers that aren't shoulder shrugs...

It's been a crazy 2 mos. plus I wanted to ask about it, but with

things being so all over the place, I wasn't exactly sure what to

ask... And dumping, putting the thought process into it wasn't going

to happen... Of ocurse, as I am feeling better, here I am... tada...

Never Give Up! j

at noon and 2 at dinner this is they tell me 20mgs of cortisol. I

don't think so I switched to HC 10mgs in the morning with food and 5

mgs at noon and 5mgs at dinner wow what a difference in how I felt.

Do you take you temps and chart them this will show you how your

Adreals and Thyroid are doing.
