I'm Driving Myself Crazy...HELP!!!

I know my thyroid is low through recent November TSH testing..was on

synthroid 3 weeks and off last 10 days as side effects were awful, and

I am on NOTHING now. Also suspect adrenal insufficiency as I have only

one adrenal gland and am being saliva tested by Canary Club on adrenal

and thyroid, and await results before medicating.

My question is this: Every year I have a CAT scan to check that there

is no recurrence of kidney cancer that was diagnosed and went into one

adrenal gland in August 2001. I am always a little anxious which is

normal and I accept that as part of having had cancer and awaiting

yearly test results.

I am having my CAT scan on Jan 12, 2007 and driving myself crazy in

the meantime with periods of great anxiety, overwhelming fear and too

much negative thinking of the worst possible outcome. This is totally

unlike me. Is this possibly a result of low thyroid/low adrenal which

is untreated?

I meditate, journal, pray, etc. but nothing seems to be working these

days.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi ,

I started having panic attacks when I went hypo after RAI. I've only been using

Armour about two months and use the panic attacks to tell when I need to

increase my dose. I think they can also be a symptom of adrenal fatigue judging

by this matrix http://www.drrind.com/scorecardmatrix.asp , but mine start

recurring when I become hypo.

Hope this helps. I know these attacks aren't any fun...

Blessings,
