Guest guest Posted December 31, 2001 Report Share Posted December 31, 2001 Hi, I had 40 sessions of IGRT and didn't have any burning problems, though I did lose an exact circle of body hair around my navel which looked really odd. One of the women who had her sessions for breast cancer TX just before my sessions always came out of the room with quite bad burn problems. My Onco didn't tell me to stay out of the sun; my treatment was at the end of last summer thru to autumn and even then here in Spain the sun can be pretty strong. She did advise using a body moisturiser for a couple of months after my treatment programme had finished. I've spent a lot of time on the nude beach this summer and haven't had any skin problems at all. The missing circle of hair is almost back to normal.
