Guest guest
Just wanted to check in and say hello and wish you well! hugs, Jana Sleeping Tip [unable to display image] [image removed] A fibro pal told me about this for sleep -- >>>>>>> As for the sleeping thing---I've found that WHEN you sleep is the key to getting deep sleep, instead of HOW MUCH you sleep. For me, in order to get deep sleep, I have to be in bed ready to sleep around 10:00. If I wait until after 10:30, I've missed that " window " . I've heard many other FM patients say the same thing. In order not to feel " groggy " the next morning, I need to get up at between 6:-6:30. If I sleep later, I'll be groggy. Find out what your peak times are and sleep during that time only. This may take some experimentation on your part. 1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. Have a nice day everyone. Guest guest
Hi , I'd like to thank you so much in helping me figure out how to keep my blood sugar readings in better control. I really appreciate it. I've been meaning to tell you that when I was in this group before and you were talking about counting carbs and keeping your sugar readings under 120 2 hours after eating I just thought it was ridiculous and I didn't want to do it because I thought it was such a pain. I want you to know that I wish I would have done it before instead of waiting until now to do it. If I would have listened and done as was suggested my readings would have been under control sooner. Like I was telling my friend Connie who is on this list until you're ready to do something you won't do it and the more you push and nag people the more determined they are to do just the exact opposite. Again I thank you and the rest of the people in this group for your help and for your support. I've told a couple of more friends of mine who are blind and who are diabetic about this list and I've given them the information as to how to join this great list. I hope they will join us but it is up to them. Thank you all so much again. regards, Terri
