Guest guest Posted June 22, 2009 Report Share Posted June 22, 2009 This was a bad situation, but to somehow use these problems at the VA to try and disparage "government health care" at a time when many people desperately need a public option as part of health care reform is disingenuous at best. For one thing, any public option would be run similar to Medicare, not similar to the VA. To suggest otherwise is to use scare tactics. Also, comments such as these are divisive and would tend to divide all of us who are in this group that we unfortunately find ourselves in.
