Thanks Kristie, I will follow your link of menues. This AM I did the

Scrambled eggs and Ham added a tad of Blue Cheese dressing to help it

go down.And I am Drinking my water. I see that I have to look closer at

the gram counting. I absolutely HAVE to loose 25#, for health reasons.

I am what they (doctors) call uncontrollable high blood pressure and I

have already had a mild stroke and they tell me that I WILL have

another one if I don't get the BP down and the weight is a critical

part of that. DO you know of anyone else who has had High BP and have

had success in lowering it by loosing weight? IN your experience, how

long do you think it would take to loose 25#?

Our diet typically has consisted of mostly of chicken (for

meats,wife can't swallow red meats) lots of Salad, Veggies, pasta, no

fried food at all in 35 yrs marrage.(I'm Italian) and wife loves her

potatoes (she is Hungarian and a wonderful cook).I am 60 YO and my

colesterol is 160, which is good, excellant infact.

I have just started going back to the gym (off 3mo since the

stroke) I used to walk the tred mill and walked a 20 min Mile.thats

with an artificial leg. I can only walk for about 5 min now. So I am

starting over again. But I am doing it.

I am encouraged, and thank you for your tips.
