Guest guest
Finding PCa during a TURP is very unusual, most of the PCas are found out further than this minimal resection does. Further it is not a modality for treating PCa, and I think I'd be looking for a second opinion, and probably a more experienced URO. Just my humble opinion, I've seen many TURPs and it would not be possible to do the same job this way for removal of the prostate, as an open, or DaVinci, surgical resection, and I'd be suspicious of a surgeon who suggested treating it in that fashion. You're playing with fire, might not be fast growing, but still needs to be addressed, good options will disappear if too much time is wasted with an inept treatment plan.Life's journey is not to go to the grave in a perfectly preserved body, but to slide in sideways, totally worn out yelling. Good God What A Ride!!
