switching to pred question

I don't know if any of you read about my nightmare of this horrific body odor

that I've got going on, not alleviated by any bathing or shower, esp. underarm

and vaginal....

I think it's the HC causing this which I've been taking now for almost a year,

and I want to switch back to prednisolone tomorrow and see if this might make a

difference. I didn't seem to have this the first five months when I was on

prednisolone. I am wondering if you pros out there know whether I should split

my prednisolone doses like I do my cortef, or if I should take it only in the

morning and if it will take care of my adrenal insufficiency that way. I am

planning to take 3-4 mgs. per day in total. Right now I take 15 mgs. per day in

Cortef (HC) I still wish I knew how H causes this very bad body odor because I

think that's what it is from.

Why not do a trial and see. For years, pancreatin would do this to

me .....now it doesn't....

No need to split prednisolone up....it lasts for 18 to 32 hours or

so, depending on the person. I usually try and take a dose real

ealry in the moring, about when the bodhy starts making its own

cortisol, and then roll over and go back to sleep

..

I have had trouble with H/C too, but would like to try it again If

you want to do a trade just for the trial, I have plenty of

prednisolone on hand.

I cannot think of any way possible that HC could be the cause of this

odor. I don't and never have felt that Pred is a good way to treat

adrenal fatigue. OS I am littl ehelp to oyu I am afraid.

I've only recently started taking spirulina and chlorophyll, but this has been

going on much before that. this was not going on prior to taking HC. I'm

wondering if if could have loaded me up with yeast, as I believe I've always had

a candida problem to begin with.

I've only recently started taking spirulina and chlorophyll, but this has been

going on much before that. this was not going on prior to taking HC. I'm

wondering if if could have loaded me up with yeast, as I believe I've always had

a candida problem to begin with.

Maybe with the addition of the HC it might be too much for your liver

to process out well. Body odor is a sign of that. I would keep

taking the spirulina and chlorophyll. Do you take any kind of liver

support in addition to the HC, something with milk thistle in it?

That would help. Have you tried eliminating gluten and casein from

your diet? I'd focus on the diet and supporting the liver and

gallbladder.

Maybe with the addition of the HC it might be too much for your liver

to process out well. Body odor is a sign of that. I would keep

taking the spirulina and chlorophyll. Do you take any kind of liver

support in addition to the HC, something with milk thistle in it?
