This list is great because we are are a FRIENDSHIP and SUPPORT list more

than just an Atkins list...as I have tried all the different things

everybody here has been patient with me...I guess what we want most is for

everyone to have success and feel good about themselves, whatever method

they choose! You are doing high protein...so it isn't called " ATkins " , and

so you have to eat stuff not on ATkins....you have been here all along and

we are DELIGHTED that you have found a way to get healthy and happy!!!

Well, you have always been happy as far as I could tell <S>

Yeah - and anyway some of us still even stay on the list while we aren't doing any kind of dieting at all anymore.....we may eventually get back to it, but even during our massive increases, we are still on the list!

, it doesn't matter how you lose the weight, it's the fact that

you're doing it and making yourself healthier and happier. That

inspires everyone else to stick to their plan.

Keep up the good work,

- Don't ever feel intimidated or leery of posting your weight loss.

Personally, I admire you for going through with the surgery. My doctor

won't even discuss it with me; and I know I still have concerns (yeah, I'm

a chicken).

Keep posting your success! Several months ago, Lyssa posted to the list

about her surgery and it gave us a small glimpse of her new life. She did

not intend to send the email to the list, but rather to a personal friend.

I have reread that email 100s of times.

You guys are truly our inspiration.

Dear Group,

You have been an incredible source of moral support and given me a wealth of

information that was crucial to my decision making. I had a myo 2 mos ago

and don't know how I would have gone through the past 6 mos without this

group. And Carla, you are an inspiration. Your posts are so smart and you

guide this group so smoothly. I'm very impressed by all you have done for

women and find myself often thankful that you are out there fighting the

good fight. Thank you.

I have now decided to unsubscribe for a while. I need to take a break and

allow myself to experience the feeling of being without fibroids and give

the rest of my life the extra attention. I've been feeling disheartened that

so many women experience regrowth after myos and find that whenever I read a

regrowth post I get depressed. I need to take a breath and just enjoy this

stretch without fibroids, and stop thinking about them so much. I will

resubscribe to let people know if and when I conceive, as that's my goal!

Thank you all!

Hi Dolores:

You are one 'special woman' and the world is a better place because of

people like you. I have found out that there are a lot of kind and

considerate people when they see you have a disability. (Mind you there are

some real jerks also-but I think the good out-weigh the bad!)

Thank you for the report on Chuck. I, for one would be more than happy to

send him greetings over the holidays. I hope there is something they can do

for his neck to make him more comfortable.

It is a beautiful Fall day here in Thunder Bay (my favorite season of the

year (such a shame Fall is so short) so I will make this a short note as I

want to get outside to enjoy the day.

Take care and thank you for being such a caring person.

Jo! : )

Aw, shucks. You are making me blush. Thank you, again, for your support.

I'll be posting a reminder as the holidays approach, for cards for Chuck.

CT is just gorgeous today, too. It is about 70 degrees, blue sky, and the

leaves are just beginning to show color. Tomorrow is supposed to be more of

the same. I'll be traveling West to speak at a senior center to seniors and

lymphedema ladies about controlling sodium intake. That is such a pretty

part of the state. It should be a nice ride.

Dolores
