People usually recommend water only, but I think other drinks are

acceptable, because, e.g., your home water might taste pukey and it's

difficult for you to provide for your own bottled water. The important thing

is to stay hydrated. (Some recommend 1 quart per 50 lbs. body weight.)

Caffeinated drinks can cause frequent urination, so you may want to avoid

those. And I'm told sodas contain salt as well, so that would be

counterproductive, if true. (The labels don't list salt per se - just

" flavorings. " ) If your potassium levels are borderline-low (increased

urination can do that to us), Club Soda might be a consideration. (Check the

labels to see if it contains what you are low in.)
