Incidentally, not to be picky, but ...

" glucometer " is a misnomer. It is, in fact, a trade-marked name for one

blood glucose monitoring system. It is more correct, as I have done

here, to call the thing a " blood glucose monitor " ; hence, a " talking

blood glucose monitor " .
