Guest guest
i need to shop, but i adore feta cheese in a salad; tuna; chicken; shrimp; eggs; and on occasion, honey ham. i'm gonna go to the store tomorrow and get some tuna steaks, some shrimp, a pork roast, and a meatloaf. it's prepared, but i don't think it has much bread in it. and a farmer's market is in back of my house on saturdays. so i'll get the exercise from walking to the next street over and down a little; getting some fresh vegies and fruit; and then see if i can get rid of some of this weight. i want to walk, but don't seem to have any energy right now, and a little worried about leaving my safe zone and then finding i can't get back. so i'll use the stationery bike. pat
Guest guest
i know from before, vicki, before all of mom's surgeries and problems, that i was feeling better. i listened to you, and you had very good advice. i love bananas but i rememb er that they were not good. and cantaloupe has little fiber. tomorrow i will fix an omelet and have some strawberries with it. when mom was in the hospital for a month, i ate there (because i spent the nite), and had eggs and bacon every morning. i got to really look forward to that. now, it's that i have to make it, and clean up the pan. lol but i know when i get my BS down; and weight down; and get a little more progressed in the grief thing, i will be ab le to turn my back on candies, ice cream, and other bad stuff. since before, i still really don't crave bread, and only on occasion, do i grab a sandwich. like maybe once a month. pat

They can be yucky/boring, but you can jazz them up with things that are much more satisfying: hard-boiled eggs, meat, cheeses, olives, nuts and seeds. Chick peas also add a meaty flavor. Guest guest
i think actually i may treat myself now to a cast iron skillet (tiny one) and an omelet pan. i still want that biscuit, but i find with two eggs, i really don't have the room. and i love fried eggs, or soft boiled, so i can have a variety. and there are new sausages out now. no clue, but i'm betting they have ingredients that are not good for us (jimmy dean flavored somethings) pat

Guest guest
Okay...probably best to forget that one...OTOH DaVinci (and probably others) put out a pretty good lowcarb maple syrup that you could use on your sausage.
