I'm not and this has not made me because I would feel hypocritical to be all of a sudden. Unfortunately there are billions of people in the world and I don't see how God could get involved with everyone's problems!

Re: Worried

I'm curious about the constant mention of God here, is it because of the illness or was everyone religious beforehand?

I believe in some sort of a higher power but it has no effect on my life, I don't buy into all of this

Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord. His name is above every name..His name is above sickness, above cancer, above poverty, above injustice, above oppression, and above depression. We are honored to give Him the praise and the glory as we see improvement in our situations, because we know that He is working in our behalf as no man can. Even when we see delays and what appears to be defeat we know that our victory is in Him, as my husband declared as he left his mortal, corruptible body to go live eternally with our Lord in his new incorruptible body. He saw glimpses of his eternal home and continually stated in his last hours that God is awesome.

Even death has no victory to those who believe so even in what appears to some as our darkest hour, we put our trust in Him and accept our eternal reward. wrote:

Fortunately salvation is free. The Lord is no respecter of persons so He does not care if you are black, white, rich, poor, young or old. You see while we were yet sinners He died for us. And is he able to know everything about everyone in the universe....of course. He created it all and us all. He hung the stars and gave each of them a name. He knows the number of the hairs on our heads. He even knows when a sparrow falls to the ground. He loves us and cares for us. Does that mean our lives will always be a bed of roses....No sometimes we do go through some fiery furnaces, but He promises to go with us to see us through....Try Psalm 23. To call on him in time of sickness and distress would not cause Him to think of you as being hypocritical. He would feel honored that you realize you need His help.....May He fill your life with His blessings 'till your cup overflows.....God Bless

Dear Rhonda,

You are blessed as I am to have a personal relationship with our Savior. When I drive to work each morning and see the beautiful sunrise he has given me I feel his presence. When I look at my kids and grandkids I feel his presence. You have not offended me in any way.

I am sorry I use to be a youth pastor until they let me go due to high cost of my medical needs and I believe that God can provide for our needs if we trust. I know some of you may not believe in God and if I have offending anyone I am sorry.Ronda
