Guest guest
pawpaw and samento TO UK PC SUPPORT GROUPS My name is Maurice and I am the treasurer of Teesside Prostate Cancer Support Group. I write to you today to introduce a different perspective on the treatment of Prostate Cancer Once a man has been diagnosed and medically treated, for prostate cancer, or indeed, if he instead, opts for watchful waiting, he may begin to think about lifestyle and diet changes that could help. Our group believes that diet control is potentially a most potent form of cancer treatment, and one which the patient himself can control. However, once the question of diet has been addressed, are there other forms of self help which could and should, be explored? In particular, some of our group have reported significant success with a combination of 2 supplements ,”Pawpaw cell-reg” and “Samento”. The purpose of this letter is to :- <!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Share information with your group in respect of “Pawpaw cell-reg” and “Samento” <!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Hopefully obtain some feedback from your group, for sharing with other men with prostate cancer <!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Stimulate an interest in these products, so that maybe more men will use them and their effectiveness can be evaluated more fully. <!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Potentially give some hope to men who feel their position is hopeless. I am writing to prostate cancer support groups in the UK, with a view to compiling data on these supplements. <!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]--> Could I ask you to pass this letter on to your members and ask if anyone who has used either or both of these items for 3 months or more at the full recommended dosage might be prepared to write a brief resume of their experience, with a view to sharing it with other PC patients. Details we would like include: <!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Reports on what effect the supplements had -e.g. any noticeable improvement in health, lowering of PSA etc. <!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Any negative or indifferent results. <!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Details of any other supplements used concurrently. <!--[if !supportLists]-->· <!--[endif]-->Whether they are willing to talk to other men re their experience. We intend to regard this as an ongoing project, so even if no men in your group have currently used these supplements, please keep in touch via e-mail every few months re any new men using them. Any information will, of course, amount to anecdotal rather than clinical evidence, but this will hopefully give us all a better idea of just how effective these supplements are. My aim is to compile and distribute the info to UK support groups. It may be that if enough data is forthcoming we can post relevant information on our various websites. Note that no side effects occurred in any of our members who used these supplements. The more men who try using them, the better idea we will have of just how well they work, and as you will see, when they do work, I would describe the results as very impressive. We have two case histories where members of our group have achieved significant PSA reductions from using these supplements. In case 1 the man had a rising PSA some 2 years after brachytherapy. Facing further biopsies etc his PSA dropped from 6.7 to 4 in three months, and he felt physically better than he had done for months. In case 2 (again after brachytherapy and external beam radiation had apparently failed) and facing hormone therapy, our member reduced his PSA from 15.3 to 1.4 in fifteen months. Another man, undiagnosed, but scheduled for a biopsy, with pSA of 8, used these supplements to reduce PSA to 2 over several months. He had no further medical treatment. Of course, not all men will have the same success with these supplements and we have three other cases where they seemed to have no discernable effect. Nevertheless we believe they offer a useful alternative to men facing the prospect of other treatments and their side effects. Comprehensive information on pawpaw can be seen at www.pawpawresearch.com The 3 men who responded well are happy to talk to men in other support groups.
