Guest guest
Trying to cure PAD >I just wanted to tell you all that I quit the Time Released niacin and went >back to the regular. The Time Released has something called methylcellulose >in it and I don't like the sound of the cellulose. Taking the regular, my blood sugar was up only 30 points this morning, which I am monitoring. My legs hurt a little bit this morning, but nothing like usual. 10 minutes after I took the niacin, they stopped hurting and haven't hurt all day. You cannot imagine how good it feels to be out of pain. I may take the last doseage right before bed tonight to see if the pain is gone in the morning. I have also been able to sleep about 7 hours straight the last 3 nights, which is in itself a miracle. I will keep you posted. Guest guest
Hi, it's my first post on this group. Using niacin I've had emporary remission after 14 years of diabetes. But the doses were up to 5 g per day and it was harmful for liver. Now I'm 16 years with diabetes and I'm reduced my insulin intake 3 times, glycemia level droped out from 14 average to 6. -- Tadas Talaikis Talkoma (reg. no. 8474681) DUNS 53-505-3227 +370 60 40522 +0 (cell) +1 (fax) http://www.powerstressmanagement.com http://www.topsalestraining.com > >I just wanted to tell you all that I quit the Time Released niacin and went > >back to the regular. Guest guest
Niacin just cleans out your arteries. I am taking 3 grams a day, but hope to maybe reduce that to 2 when I am cleaned out. Very little information that I have been able to find. I know the Lipitor did a bad job on my joints, almost couldn't walk and the joint in my knees, back and hips would pop and ache. Two weeks after stopping it the pain was gone. So I would check all meds I am on. I am starting to believe that alot of the problems diabetics have are caused by the medications. Look at me They think the Rezulin caused my heart attack, the Baycol may have caused muscle tissue damage to my legs, etc. Also the oils are good for joints, like Flax seed oil and many others. Great! We'd like to hear more about how you managed so well. And welcome to our friendly group! Are you in a country other than the U.S.? If so, I'd like to hear how the doctors in your country handle diabetics. ~ Susie in Arizona
