adrenal saliva test results

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could give their opinion on an adrenal

saliva test I had done several weeks back. I had been taking

hydrocortisone for 6 months and had weaned down to 5mg at the time I

had the test and had been on this dose for 2 weeks when I had the

test done. I had gone through a horrible time weaning down due to

weaning off too fast and wanted the test just to see how things

were. I'm off h/c now. Anyway the results were..

Cortisol

8am 26.5 (6.0 - 33.0)

12 noon 11.3 (4.0 - 28.0)

4pm 6.9 (4.0 - 11.8)

midnight 2.1 (1.0 - 5.0)

DHEA

8am 26.3 (4.0 - 29.0)

12 noon 17.5 (2.5 - 13.0)

4pm 9.6 (2.0 - 6.0)

midnight 7.6 (1.0 - 4.0)

I know the results indicate my adrenals were struggling but to be

honest I was expecting them to be worse and just wondered what other

people thought. How good/bad does it look?
