Guest guest
Hi, there are usually several people on line here 24/7. Maybe everyone is having a pain free day and are out enjoying the sunshine. Wouldn't that be great? It is terrible to be in pain 24/7. I have been that way for over 2 years now. Hurts to sit, stand, walk, lay, get up or down, turn over in bed - same old, same old, same old. Same s***, different day. I know how you feel. Try to hang in there. It's bound to get better. I have found that when you are on bottom there is only one way to go. Guest guest
Fayray and Audielinda, I'm here and I'm better than yesterday. But, aren't pain free days just fairy tales? LOL I am so glad you guys are here because I can tell you the truth instead of pretending for my family's sake. Besides, I get tired of telling people how crappy I feel!!!! And, I'm sure they get tired of hearing it. For some reason, I am having a hard time typing today...not just hitting the keys, but hitting the right keys. Strange!!Hugs to you both, Bev [ ] disapointed >>Date: Sun, 20 May 2007 21:22:08 -0000 >> >>I'm a little disapointed that I can't find a live chat room to speak >>with people who live with dibilitating arthritis and pain. It is unmoderated and no Password is required. " -- [ ] disapointed I'm a little disapointed that I can't find a live chat room to speak with people who live with dibilitating arthritis and pain. There are times I need to speak with people who completely understand, without leaving a post. Does anyone know of such a live chat room? please respond to my email if possible. Guest guest
Hi thanks for responding. I have to admitt i didn't know how this site works and isn't my main email. so i never thought to check my email. I have 177 unread email all from this site. I feel much better knowing this site is easier to use than i originally thought. I totally agree with how you feel. I'm glad to be able to speak with people who I can be honest with. I tired of always PRETENDING everything is hunky dory. It's not as we all know it. Just had another ER visit yesterday. I was so embarresed when work called an ambulance because all of a sudden I couldn't walk. All I did was get out of my chair and my right leg must have gotten a pinched nerve in it because I couldn't control it. I had to drag it and my cane wasn't enough to support my weight. I had trouble getting from my desk chair to my wheel chair. Everyone asked me if I was ok and how I'm feeling. I had to bite my tongue so I didn't become beligerant. I felt like screeming I can't control my leg, I'm in pain you all don't have any concept of on a daily basis, and you have the gaul to ask me how I feel. Once again the ER pumped me up with the good stuff and sent me home. that's all they can really do. Well anyways, i do feel better this morning. able to walk with my cane and have the rest of the weekend off, so i can take it easy. hope you have a relaxing weekend linda ny & Beverly Carroll <johnnybeverly@...> wrote: Fayray and Audielinda, I'm here and I'm better than yesterday. Guest guest
That could not be the same Soc.Security I know. Have you appealed the decision? with a lawyer? You should not have to put up with that @% & #!!! I remember my sis having severe trouble with her back (not the same as yours), but she could not stand for 15 min w/o pain & needing to lay down. Her problem was surgically fixed. I hope you can appeal and/or refile. God bless. Good Morning Rose, I wish you luck in getting Disability. Not sure where you are, but in Ohio you have to be able to work 6 months out of the year even if it is on again off again. I am 48 andI have a desk job and spinal stenosis which affects my entire body. I've been with the company for 20 years, but the past two years have been horrible with my condition. Since I don't meet the 6 month provision I am forced to continue to work even though I can't sit for long, hold a pen or type long without my hands/arms and legs cramping up. Disability see's nothing wrong with me going into the ladies room to lay down for a half hour at a time to ease the pressure off my back which helps to stop the cramping. They also don't care that I am constantly doped up on vicoden and valium. And I have a half hour drive to work. I've seen two surgeons who agree I am not a canidate for surgery because the risk of peralysis is too high. I've been through spinal blocks, PT and countless times in the ER. I don't mean to discourage you, I REALLY DO WISH YOU WELL AND HOPE YOU GET THE DISABILITY. I have to admit, every time I hear someone gets it I get a twinge of jealousy, but than I get back into reality and am happy that the person was able to get it. At least one more person is able to get some relief. hope you have a relaxing holiday weekend. linda --------------------------------- Building a website is a piece of cake. Do you mean that Ohio requires you to work 6 months out of the year to be eligible for Disability???? That's crazy. Because if that's true, no one in your state would qualify for SSDI or SSI. Hoping I am reading this wrong.
