Multiple Positions with PATH: HIV SRH Projects

PATH, a US based international NGO with the mission to improve the

health of people around the world by advancing health technologies,

strengthening systems and encouraging healthy behaviors, invites

applications for several positions under various projects and work

units in India. PATH in India implements projects led by the country

office based in New Delhi with site offices in Hyderabad, Bangalore,

Chennai, Lucknow, Mumbai and Imphal.

PATH has a growing portfolio on HIV and Sexual and Reproductive

Health (SRH). PATH is providing technical assistance to

organizations in building capacity in interpersonal communication

and mid-media for HIV under the Avahan initiative of the Gates

Foundation and with funding from DFID. PATH has also recently

started a research and advocacy project that aims to contribute to

the reduction of HIV and unwanted pregnancies by increasing

accessibility to HIV and SRH services for populations at risk of HIV

and unintended pregnancy through convergence.

We have multiple positions at various locations as below:

Research & Documentation Officer based in Delhi. To provide desk

research and documentation for various projects managed by PATH and

ensure the successful completion of projects in a manner consistent

with donor requirements and with PATH's mission. The successful

candidate will undertake desk research, document workshops and

meetings, develop case studies, develop presentations, support

proposal and donor report writing, manage and disseminate PATH's

growing collection of HIV & SRH resources, with consent take photos

for inclusion in reports, as required manage the development of

films and video clips for training purposes.

Masters degree in public health or any relevant discipline with at

least five years of experience in research and documentation of

large projects including desk research, internet and other searches

and analytical report writing. Must have excellent English writing

skills.

Program Officer based at Delhi. To provide support to the design and

management of HIV & SRH projects partner organizations working with

truck drivers and helpers along national highways and with other

stakeholders in Bihar. In consultation with the Project Manager, the

person will contribute to implementing capacity building in

interpersonal communication for HIV, research and other strategies

to ensure the successful completion of projects in a manner

consistent with donor requirements and with PATH's mission.

Degree in medicine or social science with at least four years of

progressive work experience in managing HIV projects and must

possess management skills; ability to challenge appropriately and

engage in productive debate; group facilitation; experience in

participatory approaches, managing meetings of diverse groups;

designing and conducting training; capacity building and workshops.

Must have good Hindi language skills.

Program Officer based at Nagaland. PATH is seeking a Program Officer

to contribute to the design and management of projects in the North

East, based in Dimapur, Nagaland. In consultation with the Project

Manager: North East, the person will contribute to implementing

capacity building in interpersonal communication for HIV, research

and other strategies to ensure the successful completion of projects

in a manner consistent with donor requirements and with PATH's

mission.

Degree in medicine or social science with at least four years of

progressive work experience in managing HIV interventions and must

possess management skills; ability to challenge appropriately and

engage in productive debate; group facilitation; experience in

participatory approaches; managing meetings of diverse groups;

designing and conducting training; capacity building and workshops.

The candidate must have proficiency in Nagamese language.

Admin Assistant based at Hyderabad. To work with the HIV SRH Program

team in Andhra Pradesh. The responsibilities shall include providing

secretarial and administrative assistance, managing internal and

external communication, upkeep of the office and equipment,

logistics management and liaison with the project partners.

Graduate degree with high percentile from a good university with 4-5

years of experience, strong written and spoken communication skills

in English, Hindi and Telugu.

All positions must have skills in collaborative problem solving,

establishing and maintaining effective partners, oral and written

English communication, highly organized and handling of multiple

tasks in multi-cultural environment. Successful candidates must also

have high computer proficiency. PATH offers competitive compensation
