Hey Mikki,

We did the exact same with our twins - we gave them a pretty strict bedtime, so we had "US TIME" to wind down a little at the end of the day. That's how I kept my sanity. Now my oldest is in college, and the twins are freshmen in highschool and life is sooooo much easier. I know for some people, the first day of school of their kids is a sad day, because their babies have grown so much. For me it was one of the best days in my life! lol I had some time to do errands or pamper myself a little by doing things I really enjoy. One thing we did back then (we didn't have much money) we tucked away some money once a month to go to our favorite seafood restaurant, a local little place. It was $15 a person, but that was our treat just to get out. We always skipped all the regular food and went straight to the good stuff, like king crablegs, prime

rib, etc. The waitresses ran when they saw our family coming, because the kids would leave a big mess (even though we tried to pick up, something always got dumped when you take babies with you to a restaurant.) Good grief...lol Just reminiscing...

I want to try to see if we can limit eating out to once a week now as a family, because we've been spending entirely too much on restaurants. (Plus it's easier to walk away from a plate when you're done while eating at home). Nickie
