Guest guest
Hi Amy the red head Val helped me with doing this so maybe I can help you. I chart my temps go to this link and print the chart out. I start taking my temp 3 hrs after I am up and every 3 hrs up to 3 times a day I do an avg. add them up and divide by 3 and put it on the chart. When my temps are not up and down more the .2 tenths for 4 to 7 days I up my dose of Armour I only go up 15mgs it's been about every 2 to 3 weeks I can go up. Do it slow and you will be safe. http://www.drrind.com/tempgraph.asp#directions I also check my temp before getting out of bed under my arm once a week I put the gauge under my arm for 10min.'s if your temp is less then 97.8 your thyroid is still to low. But we do need to add in how we feel. Phil Amy O'Donnell wrote: Hi, Gang: I'm sure this has been covered before. . .I switched to HC two weeks ago from Isocort, and dropped my Armour from 5.5 grains to 4 grains. When and how should I go back up, or should I? I've had NO hyper symptoms--thanks to Val and everyone else who is so knowledgeable--but now I don't know if or how I should go back up. New thing that has happened is that I had to get up at 4am Mon-Thu this week to work 6-5 to make up the 40 hours of a week from missing last Friday. To make up for Turkey Day, I worked 6-5 the prior 4 days. When I was on Isocort, I could BARELY get up on time. Went to HC the Saturday after Turkey Day, following Val's suggested protocol, and have had no problem getting up at 4 and getting to work for 6. I was falling asleep right around 10 and could NOT function at all after that. Now, last night I stayed up til midnight sewing, but I just HAD to get that new suit made. It wasn't hard, but it has been COLD down here! I've lost my respect this week for a male nerd in our department but a different building after I found out about his rather back-stabbing remarks over the last week or two. Amazingly, I was able to be in a conference call with him and a few others without calling him a ******ing **** or a spineless coward. Plus I've had 4 travelers stranded in St. Louis since yesterday, and I've been rather calm getting them help. The back-stabbing sniveling weasel still has a whisker-pulling due, but at least I won't knock the **** out of him. With witnesses. I haven't bitten anyone yet. OK, so I can see the improvements, but I want to get this right so I can START DROPPING WEIGHT!! Thanks. Amy the Redhead
Guest guest
It's nice to hear that you've noticed such an improvement with HC. I thought you have to have non-fluctuating daily temp averages before you increase your Armour? I've lost respect for my controlling supervisor this week. I loved my job until she became my supervisor six months ago. It was the perfect job for not need to exert much energy, but that has changed now and my freedom is gone. I'm just venting now. Guest guest
I work as a Graphic Artist, so I'm at the computer all day. I can still be creative at times even though I'm very tired. I just have to move and click my mouse. Fortunately, I don't get a lot of work either...LOL...thank God! Guest guest
I'd LOVE to be creative like that! But think how much more creative you're going to be once you're optimized! Then too your supervisor's antics probably won't bother you as much. I know when I was taking HC, I startled a LOT less easily and handled stress much, much better. wrote: I work as a Graphic Artist, so I'm at the computer all day. Guest guest
To be honest, I think I handle stress pretty good for have really weak adrenals. When I get upset, it's very temporary but I hope that I don't get upset at all when I begin HC. I must add that I am more irritable now. Thanks, Whitmore wrote: I'd LOVE to be creative like that!
