Opposite Irregular Period

I have not posted often, but have learned much from everyone here. However,

I have never seen mention of a symptom I wonder whether or not to attribute

to my fibroids. My periods seems to be slowing occurring further apart and

becoming slightly lighter.

I am 30 years old and was diagnosed one year ago this June. I have 2

intramural fibroids that are about 2 " or less on the front and left side of

the uterus and one large 3+ " pedunculated subserous. My symptoms include a

full sensation, some pressure on the bladder and some lower back/hip ache.

I've been advised to " watch and wait " and to attempt pregnancy (not that

I'm ready at present) prior to any removal of the fibroids.

I've gone from a regular 30 day cycle up to a 33-35 day cycle. I usually

bleed for about 4 days and use about 2-3 regular tampons per day (I

know--what am I complaining about!) My usual PMS symptoms (bloating,

cravings, mood upsets) are the same but longer. I wonder if fibroids

affect hormones in a way that would cause these changes? And if I should be

concerned? Thanks,
