Guest guest
He is frequently tired, is heavy (about 30lbs. overweight) but his diet and exercise patterns are not great. The doctor didn't order the T3 and I know this was real important! I will take his temps to see what's going on...thanks . Guest guest
His Testosterone levels are way to low he is in the normal range to most Dr.'s but his levels are normal for a 85 yr. old man. He needs to do more testing to find out why there so low. How does he feel when I was this low I could not work. I have been on Testosterone meds for 23 yrs and help men with this problem at a group at Yahoo. This link is one of the best Dr.'s for this and he puts out his treatment on the web free it saved my life. Go there and read TRT: A Recipe for Success and in this are tests he needs and why. I would not add testosterone meds untill he finds out why. I was told for yrs. it was my testis that did not work any more. Then last yr. I found this site Dr. 's had my Dr. call him and I and started adding HCG to my T meds. On my next test my T levels doubled so my Testis work this is after 23 yrs we found out I am Hypopituitary. http://www.allthingsmale.com/Publications.html Here are some good sites he can post at this one I help out at. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/hypogonadism2/ This one he can or you post to Dr. pay no mind about the name of the site a lot men there at are sick with low testosterone, Cortisol and Thyroid. http://anabolicminds.com/forum/male-anti-aging/ I have been helping men on the boards for low T for over 5 yrs. I just can see any man go through the same crap I went though. He needs more testing also Free T3. His Testosterone should be over 650. Guest guest
If he has a lower Free T3 and low cortisol then he need to first treat the low cortisol then the Thyroid when leveled then recheck Testosteron his levels can be low because of this. Guest guest
Yes, this is the plan. I was also thinking that the Testerone will balance out if these other hormones are out of balance. philip georgian wrote: If he has a lower Free T3 and low cortisol then he need to first treat the low cortisol then the Thyroid when leveled then recheck Testosteron his levels can be low because of this.
