I won't tell you to go eat a piece of fruit. I am with whoever said fruit is not a meal replacement. :-) Michele iv_adb wrote: >> *ducking* I like Krispy Kreme I dont' mind if anyone else likes them at all. As long as you don't tell me to go eat a peice of

Olives. Can't stand 'em.

And desiccated coconut. Ick. Cheap filler which can spoil all manner

of potentially good desserts.

Glace cherries. THAT IS NOT FRUIT. WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO THAT POOR

FRUIT????

Reminds me of when someone was once jokingly trying to bribe me to do

something for them with the promise of a Cherry Bounty Bar (don't know

if you have them in the US? Like a fat Cherry Ripe?).

Anyway, I informed them they were going to have to try a WHOLE lot

harder to win my favour than by bribing me with something comprising

three things I loathe the most - desiccated coconut, glace cherries and

cheap, oversweetened, mass-manufactured chocolate. LOL

S

PS - yes, I am a dreadful chocolate snob. And LOVING it.

I'm that way too - I tell people I prefer my grape juice unfermented

;-) It has made me ponder though - one would think that with alcohol

being a 'sugar', that such a sugar lover as myself would take to it

like a duck to water! In fact many in my family are alcohol lovers.

But the taste just isn't something I like - funny isn't it?

I prefer my vegetables just steamed so that they retain their flavor

and texture more like raw and NOT cooked to mush. I understand that it

used to be a strong 'tradition' in the southern US to cook vegetable

'to death'. That was valid when the gardens were mainly fertilized by

the same mule that plowed the ground, but its not as necessary if one

washes and cooks properly....

I'll join your group of women who don't like dark chocolate! I tried, but

I really like milk chocolate better. But it has to be really good milk

chocolate - I am so done with Hershey's! :-)

Thanks!

Interesting question! I

can't think of anything that I like that others find weird. But I

have plenty of dislikes! I don't like " cheap " food - fast

who doesn't like dark chocolate or milk.

Oh, hershey's. I keep my lip zipped about that one most of the time, cuz people

get so

offended as if it's unpatriotic - same with Cadburys in the UK. I like some of

it, but not all.

But hershey isn't even like eating chocolate to me. When I want chocolate I want

a serious hit

of chocolate - and that is soo not it.

Many of the mass marketing chocolate bars seems to have gotten more

'wax' like over time. I am a milk chocolate fan and if it doesn't

practically melt on my fingers, it won't melt much faster in my mouth.

And its this melting action that is as soooooothing and delicious to

me as the chocolate taste.

I agree on the Cadburys. When we toured New Zealand, I found most of

it disappointing. And See's (a west coast US company) is a favorite

delight of mine!!
