Guest guest
What is the reason you take this medication? As far as I can tell, you have no lipid problems. Zitia is reportedly a drug to reduce the amount of cholesterol you absorb from your digestive tract. Practically all of the cholesterol in your system is manufactured in your liver. Some foods like eggs and avocados have cholesterol in them, but I doubt you absorb this cholesterol directly from your digestive tract into your blood stream without these particular food items being broken down into their natural components first. Unless you have the genetic abnormality of hypercholesterolimia, I would wonder why one would take these drugs. question and lab results > > > > > > All. > > > > > > Got my lab results back and overall, not bad. Guest guest
Since hypercholesterolimia runs in your family, it makes more sense to use a drug. I am a great believer in prevention rather than rehabilitation, since if you have to be rehabbed, you first must have the problem, whereas preventing the problem solves all to begin with. Unfortunately, I did not develop this philosophy until after I had all the problems in spades. <grin> question and lab results > > > > > > > > All. > > > > > > > > Got my lab results back and overall, not bad.
