Yea, I also had no injuries except for minor sprains but they all healed properly and had no problems... I had gotten the cortisone shot for a neuroma and then the pain was just really bad after that so i knew something was wrong cause cortisone shots are supposed to make the pain better not worse so i started seeing doctors and eventually got diagnosed with rsd cause I had all the symptoms...

Hi Chrystine,

I don't know if I got RSD from the shots, but I do know I had no

other injury in my foot. Dr. asked me that a couple of times, and I

can't think of a thing except an ankle sprain in my early teens (I am

in my 40's now). So my conclusion is that if this is from an injury,

that has to be it, huh? Since I've had a high number of them (5 in

less than 1 1/2 years) maybe that's it. Did you have plantar

fasciitis too? I still have to deal with *that* too! :) argg. Plus

all the hip and back 'misalignments' caused by protecting the RSD

foot. I'm partly cloudy/mostly achey most days :)

Also, anyone else here dealing with osteoarthritis? I was diagnosed

with this in my hand last year (no RSD symptoms). Genetically, I am

bound for arthritis, it runs rampant in my family (osteo only that I

am aware of). I was 40 when I was diagnosed. Kinda young, but not

all that uncommon. I have that too, to deal with, along with the

RSD. RSD, hands down, is the worst though.

What city in Central Texas do you live in and is there a Komen

Affiliate there? If you will give me the name of the town, I can

tell you that. If there is one, you can call them and they can

point you in the right direction for a free mammogram. Doris

Pam finding something can mean many things. First let me ask you, do you drink lots of caffeine. That can cause fat calls to cling to it. It you stop drinking it, it will go away. It also can be something that they just want to watch, either way we will be here to support you. I will be praying that it is something simple like the caffeine.

Hi Pam and welcome to the group. Its very possible it could just be a shadow

and they want to recheck you to be sure. Remember 80% of all tumors are NOT

cancerous. So hang in there and keep us posted. You are in my prayers.

Marie, there is a stage iv group also, it was set up from members of this group so that they might talk about their treatments and so forth. You might want to join that group as well. Lots of the ladies belong to both this the parent group and the stage iv. I wish you all the luck with your treatments and hope that they are successful. If you have any questions about your treatments one of the ladies in stage iv could probably answer as they are all on different chemos. They also have various cancers lung bone mets etc. Look forward to talking with you here.

Hi Lucilla, thank you for your prayers, very kind of you!! I, for

one, am not a good candidate for herbal treatments at this time...I

have friends that are in the Alternative Medicine Profession. I had

tried it at one point, but my cancer markers increased. I truly will

consider complimentary treatments if all else fails.

I apreciated the advice. God Bless.

Food Stores can help you with that. I'm taking OMEGA 3 Fatty acids,

greens to shut down the acid in my body, magnesium for my nervous

system. Maybe you wanna consider that.
