Satisfaction - both quantity and type

I have been working on something for about 2 weeks that I'd thought I'd

share. I have been become pretty good at recognizing when my body is

satisfied with the AMOUNT of food that I have consumed, and most times

I am able to stop after satisfied.

Now I am working on choosing exactly what TYPE of food I am hungry

for. I first started by just thinking of foods and whether I would

like to eat a certain thing. However, that did not work well for me,

and I sometimes felt dissatisfied even though my body was satisfied

with the quantity consumed.

A better way for me is to pick a food that I think I will like,

visualize actually eating the food, and also think about how my body

and my mind will feel after I have eaten the food. It really helped me

to actually visualize the consumed food in my stomach!
