Guest guest
Since more of us are attending meetings with researchers, we should be thinking about what can be done to improve the outcomes. I have posted to this discussion some questions and a link to an interesting article from a head and neck clinician/researcher. I wonder if his ideas are practical and could be integrated into prostate cancer research to give us more focused results and more information that would be useful to the clinician and the patients? It appears to me that his ideas are very patient focused and may not be as acceptable to more traditional individuals. Because of a lowering of research funds and an apparent slowing of drug approvals at the FDA, I wonder if a modification of approach to something like this can make a difference? Maybe it is already happening in prostate cancer research? http://tinyurl.com/82qe7f Kathy
