when I first when on a trial for the Lantus insulin I had to get my mum to

draw up the insulin for me. but I was looking forward to the time when I

could get it in a pen and do it myself and not rely on waiting for someone

to draw it up.

When I finally got a prescription for Lantus insulin in a cartridge, The

Lantus pens weren't around when I got them so my diabetes specialist said

that I could use the pens that I use for my Humalog and Humulin insulin.

I only found one problem when I used the pen. I had trouble connecting the

two parts together but after some thought I decided to attach the needle to

the end to hold it in place and had no problem connecting the two pieces

together straight away.
