Guest guest Posted June 3, 2005 Report Share Posted June 3, 2005 , when I first when on a trial for the Lantus insulin I had to get my mum to draw up the insulin for me. but I was looking forward to the time when I could get it in a pen and do it myself and not rely on waiting for someone to draw it up. When I finally got a prescription for Lantus insulin in a cartridge, The Lantus pens weren't around when I got them so my diabetes specialist said that I could use the pens that I use for my Humalog and Humulin insulin. I only found one problem when I used the pen. I had trouble connecting the two parts together but after some thought I decided to attach the needle to the end to hold it in place and had no problem connecting the two pieces together straight away. from down under Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
