Guest guest
I had my blood pressure taken yesterday at the doc's office and it was higher than it usually is. One of the reasons I went on Adrenal support was because of my lower than normal blood pressure the past few months. Yesterday it was 138/77 which isn't too bad but, close to being high. Can anyone explain why it might be running higher? I have been on Isocort and now Cortef for about a month now. My blood pressure was 98.3 -2x today. (early afternoon and late evening) What happens when I start to raise my Armour from 1 grain? Will my temp. keep going up? or, will it hold more steady while raising? I haven't had a Thyroid dump bc I have stayed at 1 gr and sometimes took 1/4 more later on in the day when i felt really cold and hypo- ish. When is it safe to start raising from my 1 grain? Thanks and sorry I threw in a couple of extra questions but, didn't want to post numerous times! :0) Dana p.s. today was the first day I forgot to take my 3rd dose of Cortef and when I felt really yucky, it dawned on me that I missed it! Well, this whole evening I have felt nauseous and not right....is that normal when you forget to take it? Does that mean I should stress dose when i continue to feel nauseous and unwell after I take the missed dose?

(early afternoon and late evening)>> Hi Dana, I'm new here but also have been tracking my blood pressure/pulse and temp for several months. In fact, it was pulse rates in the 40s and low blood pressure that sent me to this forum--and to taking h.c. and armour. I'm curious when they took your bp what your pulse was? A doc friend of mine told me it is normal when the pulse is low for the bp to go up. Also, I found that when I was on h.c. AND licorice, my bp went as high as yours...are you taking licorice, by any chance? Dahlia
Guest guest
Several things can cause the Blood pressure to go up. Licorice, HC and low thyroid. You actually have a normal BP now! This is one of the benefits of HC in that adrenal fatigue (low Cortisol ) causes low blood pressure. It is simply telling you your adrenals are supported well. Now if it gets too high, either you have gone more hypo, or taking too much HC, and a temp graph will tell you the difference. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Oops - I forgot to mention that I asked after reading this message because my BP was a little high (for me) at the annual well-woman exam. Of course, they took the BP right AFTER the mammogram... So - is it possible that 7.5 mgs of HC is enough? Marti --- T wrote: > Several things can cause the Blood pressure to go > up. Guest guest
You can't go by one temp in a day comparing it to the next. you need to take temps three times a day starting three hours after you are up and average them. It is the averages you compare from day to day.
