Hello Ladies,

I have a dilema! I have been to two diff. Doc's. The

first Doc. did a transvaginal ultrasound and stated in

the report that I have a submucosal fibroid and an

intramural fibroid. The submucosal is said to be 1.6

and the other is 4.4, however, this Doc also did a

hysteroscopy and said that I need an abdominal myo. to

take care of my problem. In this Doc's hysteroscopy

report he stated that I have a subserosal fibroid and

intramural fibroid, I have called his office to get

this straightened out, but, no return call as of yet!

Went to the 2nd Doc. he requested and HSG. Had the HSG

done and the report says that yes there is something

irregular about the contour but tubes are open and

this irregularity does not obstruct the flow! This is

good, now we know my tubes are fine...new this already

because I was pg last yr and m/c. Anyway, report also

states that this irregular shape could be residual

adherent thrombus, matter left over from my period, as

I was on day 9 of the test and just fininshed my

cycle. The report also said the less likely

differential consideration would include an irregular

contour of a fibroid! The irregular contour is right

where an egg should attach or implant. The 2nd Doc.

says ok you need a hysterscopic myomectomy and a

possible laprascopic procedure to remove any scarring.

How can the 2nd Doc say this is what I need from this

HSG test? The first Doc. has the reports messed up so

I don't know what kind of fibroids and the 2nd Doc. is

going by the first Doc's sono!! Well excuse me, but

someone needs to get their s--- together before anyone

does anything else to me! I have requested that a

saline sono be done..have any feedback on this and

it's accuracy? Also, after having all of these test

done I having a problem after my hubby and I have

sex...didn't have this pain before and now I do, it

only occurs after sex or orgasm..I'm having an intense

pain like menstrual cramps and then it goes away! Do

any onf you have any advice as to what I should

do..Also, the first Doc. who did the hysteroscopy is

charging me for an endometrial biopsy..How come I

wasn't aware that he was doing that, I thought he was

just doing a hysteroscopy and then I get billed for

that! HMMMM! Anyway, your help is much appreciated!

Thanks, SKY
